Interests
As much as I love the variety of work I encounter in my practice my main areas of interest are women’s health issues, the support acupuncture provides in the treatment of cancer & neuromuscular disorders.
With a BA in Anthropology from the University of Washington I went on to get a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Seattle. I then became Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine & a Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of Washington.
After graduating from NIAOM I moved to Spokane to practice detox acupuncture at several different alcohol & drug treatment centers while I started my private practice. After three years of detox acupuncture work I moved on to a full time private practice that has been flourishing since 1999.
